Weight Loss
Areté HealthFit's multidimensional approach to
weight loss takes you step-by-step through the mental,
emotional, and physical aspects of losing weight. As
part of our program you will learn to exercise effectively,
make quality food choices, and identify and adapt unhealthy
behavior. We also work with you to develop realistic
weight loss goals and a reasonsable time frame for their
completion.
At Areté HealthFit, your weight loss journey
begins with a comprehensive Health Risk Appraisal and
Lifestyle Questionnaire. Then, our unique, 10 component
Wellness Evaluation takes a detailed look at several
factors which have a direct bearing on your ability
to lose weight. Those factors include:
- Body Composition
- Resting Metabolism
- Dietary Habits

The results of your Health Risk Appraisal, Lifestyle Questionnaire,
and Wellness Evaluation generate a road map from which your
personalized weight loss regimen is created. Once established,
one of our Exercise Physiologists implements your program
and provides safe and effective, one-on-one personal fitness
training. Because consistency is a crucial part of any weight
lose program, our Exercise Physiologists will also work with
you to increase motivation and develop a sense of accountability.
Follow-up testing is done every 6 to 8 weeks to ensure you
are losing weight both safely and successfully.
